The Br 103 is an early-style model with only one row of
vents. The prototype (103 003-0) set a German railroad speed
record of 285 km/hr on 14 June 1985; the record stood for
over 8 years.
This set was only made available to dealers who attended the 2014 Toy Fair in Nurnberg. It is not listed in current catalogs, new items brochures, or Märklin's web site.
